Malcolm Auld, Principal, Malcolm Auld Direct
He is regarded as one of the direct marketing industry's pioneers, with nearly 30 years experience. At 22 he was National Marketing Manager of TNT, at 24 he started his first marketing consultancy (Feedback Marketing) and at 28 he became the Head of Ogilvy & Mather Direct in Australia and the youngest Ogilvy & Mather board member in the worldwide network. He has run advertising agencies for Ogilvy & Mather Direct, J. Walter Thompson, EuroRSCG Partnership and has owned Malcolm Auld Direct (MAD) since 1991. He is also Principal of The Marketing Campus, a specialist marketing publishing and education company and has educated marketing executives in 15 countries. Malcolm's book Direct Marketing Made Easy is the largest selling marketing text in Australia. And his book E-mail Marketing Made Easy was the first non-American book on the subject. His agency(s) have won numerous awards internationally and Malcolm is a major contributor to local marketing education programme's. For 25 years he has volunteered services to ADMA in both NSW and Victoria, including the State and National Boards, awards judging for 15 years and Chairman of Judges twice.

Peter Barnet , Director, Gusto Group
Peter Barnet is a successful energetic and hands on entrepreneurial senior manager, including board level, with proven track record for creativity, leadership, strategic thinking, sales, marketing and delivering results within retail, distribution, graphic arts and manufacturing in Australia. He was given the responsibility to launch the Nexpress into Australia in 2003 when he was the Australian & New Zealand Marketing Manager for Heidelberg prior to Kodak acquiring Heidelberg’s 50% share and has worked with many digital print providers and clients since. Peter works with clients in Australia and New Zealand to develop successful digital printing businesses and has brought many successful digital print applications to market.

Experienced both within Australia and internationally, Michele Berkhout is the Director of Sema’s Direct Marketing Services division. Michele has worked at a strategic marketing level helping business solve their acquisition, retention and growth objectives. She has developed integrated solutions for a range of clients particularly in the telecommunications, finance, auto and retail markets. Viewing technology as an enabler, Michele is passionate about new technologies, multi-channel communications and the power of the customer.

Andrew Carra , IT Group Manager., On Demand
Andrew is the IT Manager at On Demand, Australia’s largest Digital Printer.  He and his team of developers specialize in complex variable data print and web solutions and cross media campaigns. Andrew became internationally famous in the digital imaging world when in 1990 he designed and developed one of the world's first open-platform software RIP's. Marketing his RIP under the DICE Net and then Colorbus Cyclone brand, Andrew's technology became the solution of choice for digital imaging companies throughout the world. His technology was at the forefront of the high-quality digital imaging arena connecting publishing systems to high-end colour copiers and large format printers from companies such as Xerox, Canon, HP, and Ricoh. Worldwide over 3,000 clients used his technology including the US Army, US Senate and US White House as well as local companies such as News Corp, Fairfax, ShowAds, and SNAP in their quest for robust, high quality digital images.
Brett Dashwood, edp – Principal, Dashwood Consulting & Vice President - Asia Pacific, OutputLinks
Brett Dashwood joined the document and output industries as a laser printer operator and programmer in the early 1990’s, moving into technical management roles at Salmat, before joining PrintSoft in 1996.  During his time at PrintSoft, he served in technical and business, regional and international, middle and senior management roles, including CEO of PrintSoft Americas. Brett has served on the board of Xplor Asia Pacific and has EDP (Electronic Document Professional) certification from Xplor International.  In 2007 he was the recipient of the EDP Award of Merit for outstanding service to the industry internationally. Over a good part of the last two decades, Brett has given training courses, been an integral part of document solutions, and presented at conferences and seminars on 5 continents, most recently on the value and implementation of TransPromotional solutions.  He left PrintSoft earlier in 2008 to start his own technology and consulting company (Dashwood Consulting) and was also appointed Vice President - Asia Pacific for OutputLinks.

Michael Durie, Direct Marketing Consultant, Australia Post
Michael Durie joined Australia Post as Mail Marketing Consultant in July 2004, relocating from New Zealand following 4 years as CEO of thinkdirect a Christchurch based DM agency with local & international clients. His 30-year career spans all facets of marketing communications including PR, advertising, corporate marketing & DM. During the past decade Michael has worked with many organizations to promote the principles of creative 1:1 direct marketing as a means to find, get and keep customers for life. In doing so he has presented at more than 100 seminars and conferences throughout Australasia.He is a member of the ADMA Mail Marketing & Relationship Marketing Councils and currently tutors the ADMA Certificate in Direct & Digital Marketing.

Dave Erlandson, General Manager, PODi USA
Dave Erlandson is general manager of Caslon's market intelligence service offerings. The purpose of the service is to help companies optimize sales and marketing activities and gain share. The centerpiece of the service is Caslon's Production Digital Printing (PDP) Research and Advisory service which provides in-depth analysis and insight about the current status and future opportunities in production digital printing. Prior to Caslon, Dave spent over 15 years at Sopheon/Teltech, where he directed syndicated and custom market research services for a client base that consisted of over half the Fortune 500 companies. Dave also has extensive experience in the area of product/service development as he recently served as Solutions Marketing Director for Sopheon's software and services business. Dave has BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Lucas Eyre , Director, Print Portal
Lucas Eyre is the Managing Director of Print Portal a dynamic and creative 1:1 digital provider.  After employment with Fuji Xerox Australia as a production colour specialist Lucas founded Print Portal and began building a digital print service that quickly prospered to a 1:1 solutions provider. After just 18 months Print Portal installed the Fuji Xerox iGen3 digital production press and continues to grow with a talented team of creative designers, innovative developers and high achievers in the 1:1 arena.

Prior to Fuji Xerox, Eliot worked for Adobe on the InDesign Team as the Technical Pre-Release Program Manager where he was responsible for managing InDesign 2.0 and CS pre-release programs. Eliot holds a Bachelors degree in Printing Management from the London College of Printing (LCP), and a Masters Degree in Printing Technology from Rochester Institute of Printing (RIT), New York. In addition, Eliot has spoken at numerous conferences and seminars around the USA and Australia and has had several articles and papers published in various industry publications.

.Judi Hess became General Manager, Enterprise Solutions, Graphic Communications Group; Managing Director, Kodak Canada; and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company in 2007. Previously, she served as General Manager, Workflow and Prepress Equipment and Vice President, GCG, following Kodak’s acquisition of Creo.  Prior to the Kodak acquisition, Hess served as President of Creo from 2002 to 2005 and as Corporate Vice President of Printing Workflow Solutions from 2000 to 2002.  She originally joined Creo in 1995 as program manager for Workflow Products. From 1981 to 1995, Hess worked with MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA), a high-technology commercial and defense contractor in Canada. Hess holds an Honors Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada and lives in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

Garry Knespal, General Manager, Caslon Aust NZ, a PODi Affiliate & Executive Officer, GASAA
Garry has a B Com (Industrial Relations) and is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Association Executives. He has been the Executive Officer of the Graphic Arts Services Association of Austral since 1986. Over these years he has shared the experiences of the industry, through strong personal contact with members. He and GASAA, have also broadened its interest in the graphic arts to include both creative and the full range of print, finishing and fulfillment services. He is currently a Director of the National Printing Industries Training Council and has previously served on the Board of Printsuper and the Australian Graphic Arts Conference. He has lead several overseas delegations to major trade shows. Garry has now set-up the Print on Demand Initiative in the region, managed by Caslon Aust NZ, a PODi Affiliate in conjunction with the highly successful USA based organisation.

Peter Miller, General Manager, Providing the Edge
Peter joined E-Bisprint, a print management company in July 1996 as a trainee IT developer while studying Computer Science at University. E-Bisprint is a pioneer in the integration of e-commerce and web applications within the print industry and was one of the first print management companies to create and develop an online ordering site. In 1997 Peter developed E-Bisprint’s first electronic forms and the company was able to accept it’s first email order and in 1999 Peter lead a team of engineers to develop a web based ordering system which has evolved into internationally acclaimed e-procurement site Streamline Online™. Certified with Jetform, Programming Fortran, C++,VB Script, HTML and Cold Fusion, Peter is currently the General Manager of ‘Providing the Edge’ which is an IT sector that operates as a division of E-Bisprint Pty Limited. Peter is the Secretary of the Wyong Tuggerah Regional Chamber of Commerce and lives on the Central Coast with his wife Melinda and two children Mitchell and Cianna.
Ricky Patten , Managing Director, DataBasics (Fusion Pro)
Ricky has had over 15 years hands-on involvement with the IT industry in Australia, Asia, Europe and USA, with five years technical background preceding that in laboratory research and bioinstrumentation. Starting as a technical support and training
resource, Ricky has worked his way up and expanded his knowledge through jobs such as core software developer, project manager, sales/marketing manager and is now Managing Director of DataBasics, the Australasian distributor of leading software solutions for prepress, networking, internet and workflow productivity. During his career Ricky's professional interests have been focused on in-depth technical research and development through to communication and application of these findings to a wide range of audiences both technical and non-technical - delivered via training courses, seminars, conferences, user presentations and project management. Ricky is a dynamic team leader with an extensive background in applied computer technology. With a strong grounding in applied scientific methodology Ricky can sustain a clear level of technical understanding whilst still retaining
the ability to talk directly to people in their own language.
Ian Pulrang, Sales Development Manager Asia Pacific, EFI
Ian has been deeply involved with business and print management systems for over 20 years.  Handling a variety of roles from customer support to sales development Ian recently moved to Australia to open a sales office for EFI’s portfolio of Advanced Professional Print Software.  Over the years his philosophy of using technology to fund growth has played a significant role in the development of unique business solutions for the graphic arts community.  Ian is currently focusing his attention on web to print initiatives within the digital market place.
Adam Ransom , Managing Director, Schawk Australia
Adam Ransom is a dynamic results orientated professional who has a successful track record in developing and implementing sales strategies that deliver sustainable sales and profit growth. Adam is a successful businessman with a proven track record in growth and change management. Adam graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Masters Degree in Management. Over the years Adam has successfully turned around businesses to double digit growth and profit. He has spent most of his career in Blue chip multinational FMCG companies such as Campbell’s Soup, and Arnott’s biscuits. Where for the past 12 years he has contributed to the growth and development of those companies through varying roles.

Matt Robison, Vice President Application, Online Print Solutions
Matthew Robison is the head of Applications for Online Print Solutions, a leading vendor of Web to Print and Cross-Media solutions to the commercial print market. Matt has played a key role in setting the strategic direction for development and engineering for OPS both here and in the United States. A key element of his role involves spending significant time working directly with clients to develop real-world solutions that give them the tools they require to thrive in this time of significant upheaval in our industry. Prior to joining Online Print Solutions five years ago, Matt had worked for various printing and software companies. Matt has a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Sydney.

Brenden Rolston , Managing Director, Action Mail (NZ)
Brenden Rolston is Managing Director of the Actionmail Group of Companies, which includes Actionmail, Actionprint Finishers, Access Records Management and Nova Creative. Over the last 12 months Actionmail has begun repositioning from a cost-plus production environment through to a value add services company. In 2007 Nova Creative was established with the investment into multimedia software, creative and web programmers. The investment is now starting to pay off with recent jobs producing higher profit margins through offering a full service from creative through to campaign delivery. Brenden will share an overview of Nova Creative multimedia product launch and touch on the most recent successful case study utilising the cross section of print, email and the web. Brenden is also chairman of the New Zealand Direct Marketing Council, which was formed in 2008 to promote and guide the growth of direct marketing in New Zealand.

Marian Stefani (UK), Director, RedTie and CCS Digital (UK)
CEO and owner of RedTie and CCS Digital (UK), Marian's career in print started when she formed Create a Gift in 1996 and began selling personal photo gifts in the UK. Quickly realising the potential of the internet in growing consumer print and not finding a software solution that could meet the exact needs of her business, she developed a web to print solution to grow her own digital print businesses. In 2006 she launched RedTie to offer the software as a commercial proposition, helping printers take advantage of the huge opportunity the internet offers. A well known speaker in the UK, her background is in marketing and sales, not in print. Using live case studies and her own experience of growing a print business her presentations are informal, entertaining and often irreverent, challenging her audience to understand that change within the industry can open up new opportunities and increase profitability.
Grant Stewart, Managing Director, Vectis
Grant's area of expertise is on a strategic level, developing and aligning marketing activity with overall business objectives. His primary role within Vectis is to work with clients to identify marketing opportunities and ensure they are seamlessly implemented. Over the years, Grant has helped develop and implement marketing strategies for clients across most sectors having worked extensively on customer segmentation, trigger based marketing and one-to-one communications in Australia as well as globally. Prior to co-founding Vectis, Grant held positions with Torque Solutions, Dunnhumby and HUB Consulting. He sits on ADMA's Relationship Marketing Council and holds a marketing degree with post grad study in Finance as well as an IDM qualification.
